This Butter Be Good: DIY Almond Butter

Contrary to popular belief it is easier and more affordable to make yo’ own batches of almond butter. ANNDD it’s not time consuming at all, you can literally just pop those babies in the processor and next thing you know, you Can’t Believe IT’s Butter.

Almond Butter

  • Servings: 1.5 cups

Almond Butter.

You can toast your almonds before hand to reduce the time. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and toast them in your oven at 350F for around 10 minutes.


  • 3 cups of raw almonds


  1. Place the almonds in a food processor fitted with an “S” blade. Secure the lid and allow to process for 20-25 minutes, stopping and scraping down the sides as needed throughout the process.
  2. The almond butter is ready with the oils have released and the resulting butter is very smooth and creamy– this takes a little time, patience young padawan!
  3. Transfer the almond butter to a sealed masonjar, and store in the fridge for best shelf life.
  4. ENJOY!!
