If you’ve been feeling a lot heavier lately, and no matter how much diet, cleansing and working out you do, you still feel like something is weighing you down…
Maybe it isn’t all water-weight, tremendous amount of our personal energy is tied up in negative emotions such as anger, resentment, and hate. Why? Because it takes a lot of work, attention—and energy—to hold a grudge and stay angry.
A couple of nights ago, I was catching up with some friends over dinner. We were talking about a certain person that had hurt me in the past and how this person was just now resurfacing, in what I’m thinking, is an attempt to bring closure/or to apologize.
I’ve already forgiven this person from my end, but if they wish to come forth, who am I to say no? Whenever we hurt others, consciously or unconsciously, sooner or later we will have to rectify in some way. Energy works that way, there must always be a balance. I’ve experienced this from both ends and I’ve also had to reach out to make amends.
But going back to the first instance, I worked a lot to dissolve negative emotions that were left as debris by this person. It took me more than a year to digest, accept, dissolve and bring light to the darkness that surrounded me while I was holding on to those negative emotions.
One of my friends who practices Pranic Healing introduced me to the Forgiveness Prayer, a simple yet powerful meditation that helped me understand a lot of truths. It took time, patience with myself and my struggle and A LOT OF effort to release the hurt, the anger, the resentment and to finally let go.
It is true when they say ” to err is human, to forgive is Divine.” It takes tremendous energy to cancel out ALL the energy you are using to harbor this negative feelings, and it’s not an easy endeavor but it is worth EVERY second of it.
Even if you are not ready to forgive just yet, there’s always time to start. Neptune, the planet in charge of mysticism, deep emotions and vulnerability is doing it’s annual retrograde, and in Piscis no less, the sign of letting go and releasing. This is the perfect time to start your forgiveness practice, release your emotional body from these burdens of anger, resentment and other negative emotions and make space for light, love and abundance.

Master Stephen Co teaches this simple technique as taught by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui, founder of Pranic Healing. Find a quiet place, take some time to yourself and sit on a comfortable chair. Use your favorite aromatherapy or incense to calm your body and prepare it for this meditation.
(Mudra is to put hands together on the heart; visualize in front of you someone you want to forgive & let go; inhale & exhale slowly; focus on your heart & crown chakras). Say the following sincerely:
Namasté, Namasté, Namasté.
The spiritual being within me acknowledges there is a spiritual being within you. (This part is important when you forgive. The realization here is that we are all spiritual beings who are in the process of evolving).
Namasté, the I AM within me acknowledges the I AM presence within you.
The child of God within me honors the child of God within in you. Namasté. (Visualize his/her body disappearing and all you see is brilliant light for you are addressing at the soul level)
The divinity in me salutes the divinity in you.
We are all children of God.
We are all in the process of evolving.
Evolution involves time, process, and lots of mistakes.
I had my share of mistakes and learned from them.
So can you. I wish you the same.
