Dip It Like It’s Hot! Cashew Chipotle Sauce

f you can’t handle the heat, maybe crack a window open? See what I did there? Anyhow, since I’ve started my 21-day Clean Program I’ve been trying to get creative with my lunches, as lunch is the only solid meal I can have all day, I gotta make it special!

I’m very into making my own sauces, dressings and dips and finding a way to make them dairy free as I am positive I have an intolerance to lactose. Quick and hassle-free, the recipe below is SO easy you’ll probably finish making it before you finish reading it!

Cashew Chipotle Sauce

Cashew Chipotle Sauce


  • 1/2 cup of previously soaked cashews ( at least for 2 hours)
  • 2 tbsps of chipotle powder
  • 2/3 cup of water ( depends on the consistency you want you may take a little less or a little more)
  • pinch of Himalayan salt


1. In a blender, pour the previously soaked cashews (drained), the chipotle powder and the water and you guessed it, BLEND!
2. If you want more of a spread consistency, try adding less water!
3. Enjoy!
